I am generally going for reasonably priced growth companies. The tech sector is filled with many high-growth names, which is why I hold $XLK. However, in periods when I feel the overall market is mostly expensive (like these days), I may choose to find value in individual names and buy those ($ULTA is one such example). I try to keep my holdings diverse enough, but since I am buying often, I can afford to hold bigger positions (like $META) as I can always rebalance them with upcoming deposits.
Time-wise, I am planning to hold the companies I buy "forever" unless something changes in their investment case or my investment goals (e.g. if I choose to retire one day). I don't buy companies I plan on selling just because they rallied (unless maybe after extreme, unjustified rallies).
Are you holding any of these names? Thanks for stopping by.
I will for sure be providing multiple updates over time. I will read you $LMT piece now. I am also sad I didn't get into defense. Looking at $TDG as an alternative, but it's also very expensive.
